Edge Hill goes live with MyProspectus™

Lancashire based Edge Hill has become the second UK higher education institution to offer a personalised prospectus service for its potential students. Using MyProspectus™, the innovative system developed by Sterling Solutions – the leading education marketing specialist and multi-service design/print company – Edge Hill will be able to create tailor-made prospectuses containing only the information specifically requested by the applicant.

Instead of receiving the institution's complete undergraduate or postgraduate prospectus, applicants receive their own 36 page document, printed on demand in response to data submitted on a special form housed on the institutions website. One key feature, for example, is Edge Hill's ability to issue specific entry requirement details for different countries and specific course information pages, through the use of digital print and variable data software.

International students are a critical income stream, the market place is becoming increasingly competitive and applicants are becoming more selective.  It is against this background that Sterling Solutions developed MyProspectus™.   Edge Hill is the second institution to go live with this concept, following the University of Northampton, who launched their product in November 2004.
